Syntex scope of work include not limited to replace the brick lining in the CD3 unit stack and replaced them with Steel liner and transform maintaining the flue gas flow for Condenser splitter unit usage, The stacks is 120m in height. My responsibility is to co-ordinate the work to tie in to Chiyoda new unit, prepare engineering detail, establish method statement for the execution of the Condenser Splitter Unit refurbishment work and supervise and manage the entire work
Refurbishment of Thermal Gas Unit stack
Syntex was awarded to refurbished the Thermal gas unit from brick lining to Steel lining with a given shutdown period of 2 weeks. My responsibilities it to take full charge of the shut down work including breaking out the existing brickwork, inspect the fabrication work of steel liner by Wong Heng in Seremban and installation of the steel liner at site.

The clinker silos built in NSCI
Negeri Sembilan cement Industry was the biggest ever-constructed in Malaysia having diameter of 34.0 m. It was also the first in Malaysia history whereby the erection of the 225 ton steel roof was erected on the ground and lifted 60.0 m position using hydraulic jacking system.
The advantage of the system is reduce the risk on the man fall from height and shortens construction programme.

It’s totally a new plant where JGC Corporation providing a turnkey – designs and build. The plant was constructed within the existing operational LNG Plant and sharing the main gas pipeline of natural gases that came from Lhoksukon injection well.
The plant was constructed where a lot of sharing facilities, thus the work mainly involved within the existing facilities. The plant was subdivided into 3 areas:
